The Punjab Nautical Institute (PNI) was established in the year 2010 with the aim to train high caliber seafarers to meet the highest standard of professionalism required in the ever changing and demanding shipping industry.
The various marine courses conducted at PNI are approved by Ministry of Samoa, a country located in Pacific region of the world, and widely accepted by the International Shipping Companies.
PNI is the only Maritime College located in the state of Punjab; district Roopnagar, at a distance of approx. 32Km, a mere 45 minutes drive from the city center of City Beautiful Chandigarh.
